Welcome to the forum Brett. You will find nought but acceptance here, except maybe for the odd snide remark about your choice of bike, but really, apart from, that you will have a great time here.

We will also offer respite from your partner's censure. See you on a ride soon. Very Happy

Tis easier to beg for forgiveness than to seek permission...

Not really Paul ...it's just sitting back relaxing, reading Moto GP mags and glowing owner reviews while surrounded by all it's race trophies...and ready to pounce on the unsuspecting

By the way......Welcome to the site Brett.

Don't worry about a bit of competitive banter amongst us....its part of our friendly rivalry and good for mental stimulation....and the 1000RR is a superb bit of gear.

It's also very well priced for a Euro bike and should help keep the Japs honest on thier costings.

Look forward to seeing you on a ride. Very Happy

Oh come on Paul, be honest. You'd never own a bike, no matter rich you were, that wouldn't let you do a wheelie!

Would you?

Hi everybody Welcome to the forum Smile.

As for the god of super bikes. Something tells me the new ZX-10R is going to put the cat amongst the pigeons and destroy the competition with it's 210 horsepower, weighing in at 198kg including a full tank of fuel and fluids plus traction control and ABS as well as a whole lot of other goodies.

Hi everybody Hooray

Welcome to NSWR, Brett.

Nice bike you've got there (not that you need reminding) and I look forward to catching up with you on a ride soon.

Now where's BMW obsessed, Clint, these days - he'd want to hump Brett's leg lol!

Welcome Brett, great choice of bike. If I was in the market for a 1000 I'd be getting the s1000. So much technology for little more than than an R1 is awesome.
