Progress re the Relocation of Gulf Western Oil to St Marys

Some members may be aware that Gulf Western Oil is to relocate from the current site at Penrith to St Marys. I understand the building of the new premises is coming along well, with an expected opening date sometime in October 2013.

Ross was good enough to send an update along with some pictures. The pictures suggest that work is almost finished, but Ross assures me that there is much yet to be done. Thanks for sharing the pics Ross, we hope the next few months goes to plan. We also look forward to the next Gulf Western visit to see the new premises along with another presentation on oil.

It's also obvious that it's a huge capital investment in modern technology and infrastructure and an indication that Gulf Western Oil is committed to growth in Australia. That's got to be good for us all.

The new office has a good size conference room ( behind the balcony upstairs on the right hand side of the big red pillar ) so we should be able to accommodate decent numbers in future.

Count me in for your next Oil presentation, am very interested in the science of engine oil especially when it involves 4 stroke motorcycles....

Very keen to use this. Think my old bike died around the time Ross joined and I slipped away into the nether for a bit.

The oil thread makes a very good read and should remove any doubts in regards to breaking away from the big name big price oils. Ross tells it like it is.
