New to Bikes

Hi,
Well I'm very new to bikes, on my Ls with a new BMW G659GS... I had my first ride on the weekend, riding from Procycles, St Peters down to Wollongong, and loved it. Very keen for more riding and of course learning as much as I can about riding and improving my skills.

Well, that sounds a tad ominous, but great at the same time! I'll be out and about maybe doing some commuting this week which should be great! I'm just going through the forum pages at the moment and it looks pretty good!

Not at all, it was a bit of a jibe... To learn I have to be on the road not sitting around... So if there is anyone in the Wollongong area up for a ride, I'm certainly keen!

Hi Everyone, I have been riding for lots of years but new to this new fangled forum stuff so I might lurk for a bit until I get the idea of posting (assuming what I am typing now actually works!). My idea was to connect with like minded riders who like working on their bikes in addition to riding. I'll now sit back and wait for a flame... :-)
