New Rider - first post

Hi guys,

I've just got back on a bike for the first time in over 10 years. Maybe mid life crisis but what the hell. If it feels right - do it. My sister-in-law's bloke now has a riding buddy and it's all good.

Was putting air in the tyres early today in Naremburn for my first out of town ride (to the Road Warrior cafe on the old Pacific Highway via Brooklyn) when Ed parks behind me to do the same and asks where I'm going. I tell him and then he introduces himself and gives me a card. I look up the site on the card and here I am. The ride was great and the collection of bikes at the Road Warrior was awesome - some great machinery to drool over.

Hi Stephen, it was me that met you at Naremburn. Glad you joined up so quick. Will catch up soon. We have a lot of rides coming up, but if you can make it to the overnighter at Neville late May, you'll have a great time. We travel via Bathurst (+ Mt Panorama track) and Neville is another 2 hours away from there. Take care and will see you on a ride soon.

Thanks a lot guys for the welcome. Yes Ed, I recognised your bike on here and thanks for the invite to the Neville trip. I will keep working on my riding skills and hope to make it, and I will join you for a ride soon.
