| G'day All, Just thought I'd say a quick hi and intro myself. I've been riding for a little while now and have been enjoying the tarmac onboard a 2000 vfr800. I'm in the Blue Mouintains and look forward to tacking onto some rides coming by this way. Anywho, bye for now, hope to meet some of you on a ride someday, Take care. | |

| Hi and welcome Blunko.
Would have been ideal for you if you had joined us on yesterdays Bathurst and Neville ride. As you are in the Blue Mountains, I was wondering how you heard about us.
Look forward to a ride sometime.
Ed

| Thanks for the kind words. Actually, I'm not 100% sure how I landed here.. Just stumbled across it somehow? My VFR is a red (best colour), (actually I don't mind the blue either) 2000 model. It's the best bike I've ever had IMO... I've got a staintune pipe for it on order, (should be getting it this week) looking forward to freeing up that V4 sound. Yeah, I only found out about that ride this morning with my first post. Bad luck ay.. Always next time...... Once again, thanks for the warm welcome. | |

do i like Red?
Yeah, I'm a fan of red too! Might be a tad biased though. Just fitted up the double bubble screen and thought it was a good opportunity for a photo shoot.

i like the high mount pipe but Yeah, I rarely carry a pilion. I was even looking at removing the pilion pegs at one point but the right side peg holds the exhaust bracket in place and the left (as you know) has the release mechanism for the seat built into it. I like the high mount too . It makes for a nice tidy look and the Micron tucks up nice and tight to the rear unlike some other brands. The carbon fibre can gives a pretty decent note too! Not offensive, just a nice growl.
